About
Nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, Mallorca is a paradise renowned for its stunning beaches, lush landscapes, and charming villages. It’s no surprise that this Balearic gem has become a sought-after destination for couples seeking a unique and picturesque wedding venue. Last year I had the pleasure of attending a beautifully orchestrated mixed summer wedding in Agriturismo Es Gallicant, a celebration that perfectly blended diverse cultural traditions with the island’s enchanting allure.
Marie and Ioan was surrounded by cactus and and palm trees. The rustic yet elegant venue, with its stone walls and terracotta roofs, provided a breathtaking backdrop for the celebration. The ceremony area, set up in a picturesque courtyard, was adorned with vibrant rustic and simples floral arrangements that reflected the couple’s minimalism —delicate lilies mingled with exotic background.
Marie and Ioan brought together their family and friends from Wales, France and Spain to celebrate their union in a mediterranean atmosphere where rustic and lemony decorations were not lacking.
They joined forces in a special ritual, pouring sand from beloved beaches into each bottle symbolising their union. It’s an original ritual that breaks with tradition.
Wedding formal photos capture the timeless elegance and intimate moments of a couple’s special day. These portraits, typically staged and posed, highlight the beauty and emotions shared between the bride, groom, and their close family members.
In this international mediterranean wedding the formals were immediately followed by the entrance of the bride and groom for dinner, a joyous start of the party.
Getting married in Mallorca is the best to find a neutral place with beautiful background if you are both from another place.
I leave you with more photos of the party of this mixed international mediterranean wedding.
